„ONE-self“ reflects upon the production of subjectivity and its intimate and tense relationship to capitalism. With this, Sidsel Meineche Hansen continues her previous artistic and theoretical work, in which she addresses psychological mechanisms of nervousness as a form of institutional critique. The exhibition features her recent video "Seroquel®", a series of woodcut prints, and the new CNC-cut wooden sculpture "ONE-self". The two newly produced CGI animations "EVA v3.0: X Story" and "EVA v3.0: No Right Way 2 Cum" centre on the commodification of the 3D model EVA v 3.0 in the 3D pornographic industry. "ONE-self" is conceived as a double solo show that is simultaneously on view at Temporary Gallery and at Künstlerhaus Bremen.
