Andreas Maus: Whoever does not move dies earlier

Dear sports fans, it is very hard to do gymnastics with skirt and street clothes, also on a hard floor. And that's why it is important to bring gym mats for the early-morning exercise at 7:30 a.m. and to wear a leotard, leggings, sweatpants, top, t-shirt and running pants, stirrup trousers also might do. Please bring sports clothing on Saturday, March 16th, for the gym course in the Temporary Gallery hall. (Andreas Maus)

Julia Gruner and Liza Dieckwisch: Teig (Dough)

Dough is a soft mixture made from flour and liquid that is formed and malleable through mechanical energy (kneading, beating or stirring). Paint is formed by the same principles. It also consists of pigments, flours, and liquid in which the pigments are dissolved. At the event "Teig" (Dough), the participants will have the opportunity to eat blue paint in the form of waffles. Katja Davar: Film Screening

The rare Taita falcon was first identified in the Taita Hills of Kenya hence its name. It lives in mountainous and riverside terrain and is one of the smallest falcons in the southern African sub-region. It breeds in inaccessible rock cliffs and is a scarce and relatively endangered species. In southern Africa there are a few breeding sites where the birds can regularly be found. The offspring are fed exclusively with small birds caught in aerial flight. This film, shot in 1986 by P. Möller, shows two falcon mating and ends with the departure of the offspring from the nest. The Taita falcon looks similar to a tiny peregrine falcon, with a short and strong body and with pointed wings and a clear grey rump. It reminds me of the peregrine falcon in my drawing Field sings vision a song_1 that was deeply inspired by the Fresco in the Palazzo Medici Ricardi in Florence, Cappella dei Magi by the Italian renaissance painter Benozzo Gozzoli, (1421 – 1497).

Markus Saile and Baptist Ohrtmann: Time Batteries

In his artist book, Markus Saite presents recent paintings and exhibition views that address the dissolution of spatial and temporal structures and the significance of the particular hangings of his works. Employing layered glazes of paint, he examines the inner contradictions of painting that undecidably oscillates between a surface of projections and a material object, situated in a given exhibition space.

Stones, loam, soil ... Plowed earth in long rows. A profile settles and draws traces. The wells collect water. The Volcanic Eifel is characterized by a barren and undulating landscape, vast forests and natural areas, still untouched bogs, volcanic cones, deep maars, natural mineral springs and wild streams.

Bradley Davies presents field recordings that the artist took over the course of several years at various places. He will talk about the interrelation of sound an the meaning of specific spaces.
